Welcome to the 2012 Teaching and Learning Conference
The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board is proud to host the 2012 Reinventing Instruction and Learning Conference. This conference is an opportunity for faculty, administrators, and staff of Texas public colleges and universities to listen, discuss, and consider the challenges facing their institutions regarding undergraduate teaching and learning excellence. Participants will have an opportunity to be a part of presentations, workshops, and discussions that will provide insights and research on teaching and learning, including innovative pedagogies and best practices that are helping faculty advance undergraduate student learning, persistence, and success. Conference presentations will focus on the use of educational technology, learning theory and its application in the undergraduate classroom, learner centered pedagogical practices, and student retention and success. The overarching goal is to improve undergraduate teaching and learning in Texas and, thus, increase retention and success. We are pleased that you are joining us in this dialogue.
